Valiant is a confidential practice. This page explains what information is collected, why, and how it’s looked after. Valiant follows the Australian Privacy Principles.
What’s collected
Only what’s needed to work with you:

Enquiries: your name, email, phone number and anything you choose to write in your message.

Bookings: your name, email, phone number, how you’d like to meet, and any note you add.

Sessions: notes from consultations and sessions, and emails between us.

The website also collects basic, anonymous usage data (pages visited, device type) to keep it working properly. This doesn’t identify you.
The Fortitude Check
Your answers stay in your browser and disappear when you close the page.
Nothing you enter is sent to Valiant or stored anywhere.
The Waypoint Companion
If you use the companion app during the program, everything you write is saved only on your own device. Valiant never receives it. Anyone who uses your device can open it, and clearing your browser data will delete it permanently, so it’s worth knowing that before you start.
How it’s used
Your information is used to respond to you, and to arrange and run your sessions.
It’s never sold, never added to marketing lists, and never shared with your employer.
Who sees it
Only Johnny. Nothing is shared without your written consent, except in the rare cases where the law requires it, such as a serious risk to your safety or someone else’s, or a court order.
Where it’s stored
Enquiries and bookings are stored securely by Wix, the platform this site runs on.
Booking times also appear in a private, password-protected business calendar.
Session notes are kept in a secure client records system, separate from the website.
How long it’s kept
Session records are kept for 7 years after your last session and then securely destroyed. Enquiries that don’t lead to working together are deleted after 6 months.
Your access
You can ask to see or correct the information held about you at any time.
